About the Photo:
This was a fun one. After hiking all day, my legs were sore and exhaustion was setting in. We were making our way back as the sun dipped low, and darkness crept in.
I rounded a corner and froze, there, on the horizon, was an elephant in the rocks. Towering and unmistakable, it loomed like a guardian in the fading light dominating the skyline.
I fumbled for my camera, racing against the last remnants of light. This was my final chance as I was leaving the next day. But just as the last glow disappeared, I pressed the shutter.
The result tells a story: an elephant cast in stone, its tale long forgotten but its presence eternal.
Later, I learned that this formation is called the Parade of Elephants and I had no idea, I just had thought I found a cool formation like shapes in the clouds. Even though it turned out to be a silly moment for me, I still love this photo, the story makes it better!
