About the Photo:
What makes a good photo? Is it the view? Maybe the subject? No, that's not it. Is it the color? Can't be that because some of the most profound images are black and white. So what is it?
Well, I think it's a mix of all of that but, what I really think it comes down to is the feeling you get from the photo. Easiest example is when you look at an incredible photo, from one of the most popular photographers, you might think, "WOW! That's an amazing photo!" but then you see a photo someone took with their phone of a family member you really love, or a friend's baby and your immediately more interested in that photo.
Now that's an extreme example but you see what I am saying. It's not necessarily the quality of the picture but the feeling that you get from the photo.
This is what I shoot for when I take landscape photos. It's more difficult because everyone is different but I like to think I manage it slightly :) What do you feel when you look at this one?
